The lodge is a great place to stay! We were able to book a room last minute and it was great the service was absolutely outstanding as always lots of upgrades to the lobby and restaurants the rooms although are very dated they need some love and attention that being said they are comfortable and very clean. Were did not use any of the services the hotel offers due to the shortage of time we were there but my son needed a snack at 9:30 pm and the front desk opened the gift shop for us which was amazing thank you Medicine Hat lodge for a fantastic stay
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean (could hear outside talking but think hat the other guests were pretty excited about the water slides and talking loud). The breakfast was amazing! The water slides are older but in good repair and fun to ride. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a fun place to stay. We would stop by again if we are in the area :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the services at the conference centre. Although I didn’t try out the waterpark. It looked like an amazing place for a family to spend the day. The casino restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent with great service and diversity and food choices. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
The rooms were nice and clean. The casino bar was great for a quick drink and the staff was great. The waterslides were a lot of fun for the kids and the reason we stay here, though they could use a renovation. The breakfast was mediocre and seemed cheap.
Great value. Pool with two big slides. Nice hot breakfast. Laundry machines are old and some what broken. Gym machines are out of service too. Pool slides are getting older too. Have to revamp the place soon or they might have big issues. For now a great place for kids for a short visit.
Attented a Christmas party here was great time. Room was nice and clean. Forgot my nighty there which they were unable to find but life goes on.
I read some of these reviews and it made me nervous.. however I was pleasantly surprised. Right from check in the staff was pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean and yes I agree some things in the hotel need a refresh or upgrade it didn't impact our stay at all. The pool was great fun for the kids, the slides were a hit. Not sure if the hot tub was working or not, as I didnt test the pools there, some previous reviews said there hottub was broken but there was a warmer pool with jets and a few guests were hanging in it so possibly? The breakfast was absolutely delicious and amazing. Great and unique selection. We needed an extra pillow and a few new towels and they sent them up right away. Great stay!
